In the first article, the Create Insight Statement, we mentioned that creating an Insight Statement can help us anticipate the problems we will encounter in the design, which in turn can help us Create a brainstorm.
First, we need to define the theme of the design, which in my opinion is an important step. Then, we need a short statement of the core of the topic, and I think that’s right, because too many statements can lead us to drift away from the main point and waste a lot of time. Next, after we have made a broad list of what needs to be stated, we should re-examine our topic and select the content that meets the needs of the topic. At the same time, we should also check whether there is any missing content. Finally, it is important to review the content from the perspective of others so that they can more objectively judge whether the insight statement fits the theme and is clearly described.
In the second article, Example of Insights for Design, I learned not to limit the scope of my research and not to be biased by the data, which will affect my work. We can put forward a question for our research direction, collect the real experience of users extensively, sort out the most reliable information, and finally improve the appeal of this question to the public, so as to draw a good research conclusion.
