As I newly learnt, ‘In all object making, that aspect which relates to conceptual interpretation is art. That which relates to the object to an intended purpose is design, and the quality of this execution is craft.’ (Verplank, 2011) I am truly thankful for the whole session, which guided me step by step from having a intention while designing, to eventually grasp various approaches to make my intentions delivered in a more concise way to the audiences. This feels like a boost on designing delicacy, which were hard to improve even a little before. Hence, it is exceedingly valuable experience I ever had to attend such a session, owing to the multiple glossaries with advanced philosophies behind, and fantastic innovative craft method provided. An exemplar would be the cardboard prototype made step by step by Es Delvin, which is seen extremely valuable experience for without a guide like it is in the session, I myself might not noticing the project, which might cause future several years of my indifference on prototyping, due to the complex making procedure. Yet, currently my false attitude on prototyping is permanently turned over, and various method are mastered which further make the prototyping procedure more systematic. This, might also help me in lifting the accuracy of my delivered intentions to a higher level, which can be a much longer turn task without the session. The reason these thoughts generated in my mental world would be that these revolutionary ideas struck hard on my former cognition, which eternally altered the concept like user to various cognitive stages, computerbased design to human centered design, intuitive design from the designer to intuitive design for the public users, using materials I like to employing affordances appreciated, and interface design to multipoint touch design. These revolutionary thoughts have brought me into a brand-new hall of design and new media.
